I used to think Trump Derangement Syndrome was just my side’s way of digging at those I accuse of constantly hyperventilating. But the diagnosis is gaining mainstream acceptance.

Urban Dictionary has a fabulous and pointed definition of what’s happening with our friends on the left known as the resistance.

Trump Derangement Syndrome, according to Urbandictionary.com, “is a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their dislike of Donald Trump, to the point at which they will abandon all logic and reason.” Not sure I can improve on that.

Urban Dictionary (a bit tongue-in-cheek, if you didn’t notice) also offers “proper treatment” advice. They guarantee that a full recovery is possible. I don’t know. That’s because an even “application of logical reasoning” is the prescription.

How else can you explain people who don’t believe minority unemployment is at a historic low? It’s laughable how they are now experts of all the different measures of unemployment that they ignored when President Barack Obama was president, but I digress.

TDS is the only explanation for the mainstream media’s spin that North Korea sending the sacred remains of soldiers who died in a war that ended 65 years ago is bad news. Is that deranged thinking? Sure it is.

Destruction of known ballistic-missile test sites is also marginalized by the best and brightest on the left. Their healthy skepticism somehow affords them final approval of what’s true or not because of the inconvenience of the political subject matter.

They report North Korea’s developing new weapons. They hope North Korea and Iran ignore President Donald Trump’s offers of normalcy.

Chris Matthews at MSNBC predicts a recession just two years after the second quarter of 2018’s GDP is reported to be growing at 4.1 percent. The left tells us that Obama posted similar gains. Ask them about annual GDP numbers. They’ll go away quietly.

NATO countries will pony up billions more for their protection. The European Union will give ground to Trump on trade. Trump will defeat Russian President Vladimir Putin in world economic markets to disprove collusion accusations. China’s trade deficit will shrink.

Democrats might take the House in November. (I say so. Me.) Deep down, I have this curiosity as to how weird things can get. I liken it to an E-ticket ride at Disney.

If it happens, I say bring it on. How deranged can they get? Impeachment will be fun. A dismal failure and a victory wasted, but fun nevertheless. Think.
