ALL ARE WELCOME — Pastor Irah Martin and his wife, First Lady Cheryl Martin, welcome newcomers to Divine Remnant of Truth church in Orange City.

The doors of the church have opened at Divine Remnant of Truth at 1725 S. Volusia Ave. in Orange City.

Pastor Irah Martin and First Lady Cheryl Martin can be seen with smiling faces and heard with engaging sermons in their new church home.

Pastor Martin, an ordained pastor for the past five years, started preaching in 1981 while in the 12th grade. He was born in Puerto Rico, but grew up in the Virgin Islands and now calls West Volusia home.

With more than 20 years of committed service, he has dedicated his life to God and his community.

“He is an international evangelist that has been traveling and evangelizing for many years and teaches the Bible from its Hebraic roots, giving the people Scripture in full context,” Evangelist LaQwonna Glaster said.

As Martin moves toward the next stage of his spiritual journey, he leads with a team that includes Glaster, along with Kasheem Traylor, assistant pastor; Willie McQueen, pastor; Luis Rodriguez, pastor; Naomi Gayle, evangelist; and Wayne Whittaker, elder.

The core beliefs of the church state “we are a church who believes that the Bible is the infallible inspired Word of God. We are a full Gospel Bible-teaching church.”

Divine Remnant of Truth has a variety of ministries for men, women and children.

“We are a place of refuge and a church that meets you where you are. We are a church without borders with a Micah 6:8 foundation, which states, ‘to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with God.’” Martin shared.

As a part of Divine Remnant of Truth’s concert series, Darnel Butler and Remix Worship, along with other local artists, will perform at the church at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.

On Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., Quest will perform.

These two concerts are just some of the events to look forward to as Divine Remnant of Truth continues to build, grow and engage the community.
