CRACKED WINDOW

A Deltona woman told deputies Oct. 17 that she was sitting in her parked car in her front yard at about 6 p.m., “when she felt something hit her vehicle.”

She got out and found “a small piece of concrete next to her vehicle.” Furthermore, she discovered “a small crack on the back window.”

But the woman didn’t see anybody in the vicinity.

About three hours later, she “heard what sounded like gun shots outside her home.” The woman went to see what had happened and saw that her home and her car had been hit with paintballs.

Thirty to 75 minutes later, quite a few blocks away, another Deltona home and a vehicle parked there were struck by paintballs.

No arrest had been made as of Oct. 28.
