Olaf, meet West Volusia. West Volusia, meet Olaf. He is the featured "Pet of the Week" at the West Volusia Humane Society and we were fortunate enough to spend some time with this beautiful boy last week.

If you have never played football in the mud with a white Dogo Argentino mix, you are really missing out.

Olaf is just over a year old and is looking for his "furever" home. He has a few requests for his perfect place and family. As a bigger breed puppy, with energy to burn, Olaf needs an enclosed yard to exercise in daily. Walks or runs every day will help to keep him on the calmer side.
Since he is deaf, he will need someone with patience to continue working on his sign language commands.
Olaf is the longest dog resident at the West Volusia Humane Society. He has been adopted out a few times but, continues to be brought back due to his puppy energy along with being deaf.
The WVHS suggests no other smaller animals or children in the home due to his size, energy and inability to hear. This is not a rule, just a precaution.
The WVHS invites anyone with interest in Olaf to come over and spend some time with him. He loves football and playing in the run.
They are open 7 days a week, 10 am to 5 pm.
