Orange City dedicated Colin's Dream Skate Park at Coleman Park Saturday morning in memory and honor of Colin Anderson.
On February 8, 2013, Colin Anderson, age 12 at the time, was tragically lost in an accident involving his skateboard. City, County and State officials were "on deck" throughout the event and ribbon-cutting ceremony along with Colin's family and friends.
The event included an early morning skate, bike ride and walk starting at the elementary school and ending at the park gate. Officials also proclaimed yesterday as Colin Anderson Day.
Colin's mother, Cassandra Sprague, cut the ribbon inviting all to enjoy the park in honor of her son's legacy.
