Get ready for the most popular bacon and beer event in Volusia County! For the fourth year in a row, local residents, families and friends will get to experience one of the most highly attended events of the season in Deltona this year!

Attracting crowds of 5,000 to 10,000 people who are bacon and beer lovers, this free festival was previously held in DeLand, but for the first time is being moved to Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex in Deltona.

The City of Deltona has partnered with the WVRC Charity Inc. and KMarks Events this year to build economic development and community engagement with Deltona residents. This larger venue will be able to accommodate the large crowds, contests, games, live music, and more than 100 vendors.

Attendees can sit back and relax on their chairs and blankets while they listen to live music by the ThunderJack AC/DC Tribute Band, Tobacco Road Band, and Psycho Magnets.

“Bacon Alley” this year will include food vendors specifically selling bacon-infused items like bacon-grilled cheese, bacon-covered shrimp, bacon ice cream, chocolate-covered bacon, bacon mac & cheese, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, candied bacon, and more! There will also be a bacon-eating contest sponsored by The Blind Pig at 2 p.m.

Those looking to enter the event early or have an unlimited beer-tasting experience can purchase a VIP bracelet for $65 or a Brewery Lane bracelet for $45. This event will benefit the West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Charity.

Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex is located in Deltona at 1200 Saxon Blvd. The Festival will take place on October 12 from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., although VIP pass-holders may enter at noon. A free shuttle from the overflow parking lot at Deltona City Hall (2345 Providence Blvd.) will be available from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
