Whether you are a “Young American” or are simply young at heart, “Let’s Dance” together when “BowieLIVE: The Ultimate David Bowie Tribute” resurrects David Bowie, the original “Rebel Rebel,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Athens Theatre in DeLand.
David Bowie’s catalog spans decades and many different musical styles, making it an exciting concert and a demanding challenge for any group of musicians.
From the alien glam rock of Ziggy Stardust to the smooth, debonair musings of the Thin White Duke and on to the ’80s and ’90s hit-making machine, BowieLIVE delivers. Led by vocalist/producer Jason Bambery, BowieLIVE may be the closest thing to witnessing Bowie in all phases of his legendary career.
You know the songs: “Space Oddity,” “Fame,” “Heroes,” “The Jean Genie,” “Changes,” “China Girl,” “All the Young Dudes,” “Modern Love” and so many more. Now, see them brought to life by North America’s premier David Bowie tribute show, BowieLIVE!
