Celine S. King Dell

DELTONA — Celine S. King Dell, 76, died Nov. 30, 2017, surrounded by her family. A private celebration of her life is planned for late spring 2018. Details will be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Dell was born in Athens, New York, to Truisana Martino VanKuren and Claude VanKuren.
She was preceded in death in 1971 by her first husband, John B. King, and in 1994 by her second husband, Donald U. Dell. She is survived by two daughters, Briana Klender and Jennifer Roberti; four grandchildren, Jonathan J. Sorel, Chelsea Klender, Tyler Whiting and Lauren Klender; and two great-grandchildren, Lyla G. Sorel and Jonathan L. Hernandez.
Celine enjoyed her career as a phlebotomist for more than 25 years at St. Peter’s Hospital and LabCorp in upstate New York.
She loved to travel, her dogs, reading, dancing, and spending time with her family.
Celine lived her entire life in New York, but spent her last four years in Deltona, enjoying the warm weather and time with her family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or to the Humane Society, to reflect Celine’s love of animals.
Her bright spirit, positivity, love of life and eternal optimism will be truly missed and remembered forever.
