Stetson University hosted one day, July 16, of the Central Florida Sports Commission's three-day Celebrity Mascot Games. The event benefited New Hope for Kids, and featured sports mascots competing in joust, obstacle course, dodge ball, and musical chairs. Since the initial Mascot Games, the event has raised nearly $265,000.
