Judith Southard and Joseph Knott tied the knot at First Unitarian Universalist Church of West Volusia in DeLand on Sept. 26, with the Rev John Higgins officiating.

The reception was at the Club at Victoria Park in DeLand, with many family members and friends attending.

Laura Brocco and Jack Jarrett are wed

Laura Brocco and Jack Jarrett were married July 25 at Community United Methodist Church in DeBary. A reception was held at Holy Trinity Reception Center in Maitland, and the couple honeymooned on Little Gasparilla Island.

The bride is the daughter of Matt and Anne Brocco of DeBary, and the bridegroom is the son of Pastor Mike and Karen Jarrett of Winter Haven.

The bride was a 2006 graduate of DeLand High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.

The bridegroom was a 2004 graduate of Lake Region High School in Eagle Lake. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in practical theology from Southeastern University in Lakeland.

The couple live in Louisville, Ky., where the bridegroom is working on a Master of Divinity degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
