We at West Volusia's hometown newspaper, The Beacon, are delighted to announce the news of your baby's birth. Family News is published weekly; the deadline is Tuesday for the following Monday's edition. Should you require extra copies of the newspaper for relatives and friends, call us at (386) 734-4622, or e-mail a Beacon representative.

Publishing birth announcements costs 10 cents per word, and $1 per photo. Announcements must be prepaid. After you submit your news, a representative from The Beacon will contact you with the cost, and to verify your information.
