Army Pfc. Cody A. Fetters has graduated from the H-8 Tracked Vehicle Recovery Specialist Course at Fort Knox, Ky.
The course is designed to train students in the skills and knowledge needed to perform recovery operations using the M88A1/A2 tracked recovery vehicle. The course includes field and classroom training in the proper use of tools, equipment, technical data, and applicable references needed to determine recovery methods, locate recovery sites, operate tactical communications equipment, and maintain recovery vehicle armament systems.
Students learn to drive, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on recovery vehicles; receives operating instructions in recovery vehicle component equipment, auxiliary power units, and use of proper recovery safety procedures when rigging, recovering and towing tracked vehicles.
Fetters is the grandson of Lavina Hept of Arawana Drive, Orange City, Fla.

Battle Stations is designed to galvanize the basic warrior attributes of sacrifice, dedication, teamwork and endurance in each recruit through the practical application of basic Navy skills and the core values of honor, courage and commitment. Its distinctly Navy flavor was designed to take into account what it means to be a sailor.

U.S. Army Capt. Debra A. Chappel has returned from deployment in Mosul, Iraq, after providing medical care to service members in the Multi National Division-North for the past 15 months.
During that time, soldiers from the 86th Combat Support Hospital treated almost 3,000 patients and evacuated almost 300 of them to a higher level of care. They also managed an inpatient care workload that numbered more than 750, including patients from all branches of the armed forces, Department of Defense and Army civilians, American and foreign contractors, local civilians, Iraqi Army and police, and security internees.
The 86th Combat Support Hospital is assigned to the 44th Medical Command and supports the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky.
