Bill and Alice Hasenyager celebrate 67th anniversary

Bill and Alice Hasenyager, residents of Good Samaritan Florida Lutheran Retirement Center in DeLand, will celebrate their 67th anniversary Feb. 17, 2013.

The couple met at church in Peru, Neb., and were married Feb. 17, 1946, at Bethany Christian Church in Lincoln, Neb.

Bill is a licensed marriage and family counselor, is a chaplain with the Disciples of Christ Church, and was a domestic-relations counselor in Lincoln.

Alice was a homemaker, a vocalist, a choir director, and later, the volunteer coordinator in the rehabilitation center at Florida Hospital-South in Orlando.

The couple have three children, Ann Koch and her husband, Vern, of Des Moines, Iowa, Paul of Orlando, and Tom

Hasenyager and his wife, Beth, of Mill City, Ore.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
