Day Shift:
Burglary - E. Silver Hammock Dr. A man reported that sometime between 10-26-09 at about 2100 hours and 10-27-09 at about 0500 hours an unknown suspect entered his unsecured garage and stole some baseball/ umpire equipment. He said when he returned home last night he forgot to close the garage door.
Aggressive panhandling - Plymouth/ Woodland. A man was witnessed by officers panhandling at this intersection. He was walking up to cars and yelling at the drivers if they did not give him any money. He is homeless and had a FTA on his record. Curtis was transported to VCBJ.
Night Shift:
Burglary Conveyance - N. Tuxedo: An unknown brand laptop computer was stolen out of a vehicle at this location. Vehicle was unlocked.
Burglary Conveyance - Country Club Park: A GPS and phone charger was stolen out of a vehicle at this location. Possibly via an unsecure window.
Grand Theft - W. Rich Ave: A Baja brand motorcycle (mini bike) was stolen from this location sometime during the day.
Fraud (Counterfeit Bills) - E. New York Ave: (Handy Way) An unknown w/m attempted to pay with two counterfeit $5.00 bills. He left before officers arrived. A possible first name was provided. The money had the same serial number and was placed in evidence. Warrant - E. Indiana Ave: A man was arrested for an active FTA Warrant. VCBJ. Warrant - Luella Ct: A man was arrested for an active FTA Warrant. VCBJ. Open Container - 145 N. Woodland Blvd: (Halftime) A man was issued a NTA for an open beer after being seen walking out of the bar with it.
