Day Shift:
Attempt Burglary - W. Minnesota.- A woman reported that on today’s date she went outside where she found an unknown b/m walking between her house and her neighbor’s house. The woman told her boyfriend about the suspect where the boyfriend began to chase the suspect south on Stone. It was later learned that the boyfriend chased two b/ms from the house. The suspects attempted to gain entry into the house by removing a bedroom screen however they were unable to open the window all the way. An area search was conducted by arriving units and VCSO Air-One with negative results.
Retail theft - E. Voorhis. A man was witnessed by store employees running out of the store with two pairs of shorts. The suspect was located at the corner of Florida and Voorhis where he fled the area. After a brief foot chase the suspect was caught by LEO. He was transported to VCBJ.
Burglary - N. Hill. A man reported that on today’s between the hours of about 1230 and 1400 hours an unknown suspect enter his house and stole his wife’s wedding ring.
Uttering a forged instrument - N. Woodland. A man attempted to cash a forged check in the amount of $999.00 at this location. The check was from Babcock Furniture. A call to Babcock revealed that the check was fake and they had no record of the suspect. He was transported to VCBJ.
Night Shift:
Crash - Traffic Crash at Euclid and Hill. No serious injuries. Both vehicle towed from the scene
