Day Shift:

• DWLS — East New York Avenue — A man was stopped for a traffic infraction. A computer check revealed that his DL was suspended. He was transported to the VCBJ.

• Stolen bicycle — North Arlington Avenue — A woman reported that on sometime between 01-8-13 and 01-09-13 an unknown suspect stole her unsecured bicycle from her front yard. The bicycle was a green and black Mountain Fury mountain bike. No serial numbers. 

Night Shift:

• Armed Burglary (Residence) — South Boston Avenue — A 22 YOA was observed by a neighbor kicking the front door in of the above location. A perimeter was established and officers made entry into the residence resulting in his arrest. He was in possession of a box cuter at the time of the incident. Transported to VCBJ. 

• Burglary of a Conveyance — West Garrison Street — Steve’s Taxi driver was approached by an unknown B/M at the above location and was asked if he had change for a $100 bill. As the driver was distracted counting the change, the B/M reached through the window and took $40 and the driver's cell phone from his pocket and left on foot.
