Day Shift:

• Burglary — North Kentucky Avenue — A man reported that on 12-17-12 an unknown suspect entered his residence through an unsecured rear window. Once inside the suspect stole a Play Station 3 game console and a laptop computer.  The Play Station 3 was entered into the computer as stolen. No leads.

• DWLS — Garfield and Minnesota Avenue — A man was stopped for a traffic infraction. A computer check revealed that he had a suspended DL. He was transported to the VCBJ. 

• Retail theft — South Woodland Boulevard — A man was witnessed by store employees select a tablet device and take it out of the package. He then exited the store without making any attempts to pay for the property. He fled on foot where he was later caught by police at the rear of the shopping plaza. He was transported to the VCBJ.
