The DeLeon Springs Community Association is calling for artists and fine crafters for a juried art show called "Art Among the Trees."
The event will take place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 13, on the grounds of the Porter House at 5030 North U.S. Highway 17.
A $50 prize will be awarded for best of show, with smaller awards for first-, second- and third-place winners.
Local students will display their artwork, as well, and vendors will sell food and beverages. Live bluegrass and old-time music performances will round out the event, with free jam sessions for musicians of all levels of ability.
For more information, or to download the application form for artists and crafters, visit the DeLeon Springs Community Association online .
Interested vendors should contact the Community Association right away. Until Sunday, March 10, the fee is $25 for a 12-foot-by-12-foot space. After that, the cost goes up to $35.
