The DeLand Lady Bulldog basketball team will get another crack at the Lake Mary Lady Rams on the road at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Lake Mary battered the DHS girls, 59-28, to win the district tournament and earn a home spot for the regional-tournament quarterfinals.
On Feb. 7, the Lady Bulldogs were on the road at Jacksonville Mandarin, where they defeated the Lady Mustangs, 54-42. No statistics were available at this writing.
At the same time, the Lake Rams cruised past the visiting Jacksonville Sandalwood Lady Senators, 57-19.
This set the stage for the DeLand-Lake Mary game in the regional semifinals. The winner will probably catch the victor of the Orlando Boone-Orlando Dr. Phillips semifinal action at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12.
