The folk duo Hungrytown will perform free concerts at three public libraries in January.

Hungrytown is the musical and married duo of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson. They have released two acclaimed CDs, Hungrytown in 2008 and Any Forgotten Thing in 2011. Both CDs continue to receive much airplay on folk and Americana stations worldwide.

Hungrytown's music has appeared on several television shows, including the Independent Film Channel's hit series Portlandia.

Hungrytown will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Deltona Amphitheater, 2150 Eustace Ave. in Deltona; at noon Saturday, Jan. 12, at VIA Hall, at 126 E. Halifax Ave. in Oak Hill; and at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Dickinson Hall, 148 Albertus Way in Orange City.

The concerts are sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

For more information, visit the Volusia County Public Library system at www.volusialibrary.org or visit the library’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/volusialibrary.
