We are the champions — The Deltona Wolves, winners of the super bowl of Pop Warner Junior Midget Division II national championship game played against the West Haven, Conn, Seahawks, are being treated to tickets for a collegiate super bowl — the Beef ‘O’Brady’s Bowl game in Tampa Dec. 21.

To congratulate the Deltona Wolves for their super-bowl victory at the Pop Warner Junior Midget Division II national championship Dec. 7, the Deltona Beef ‘O’Brady’s restaurant is sending the team to another bowl game.

This time, however, the youngsters won’t have to play. Compliments of the restaurant, the Deltona Wolves will get tickets to the Beef ‘O’Brady’s Bowl in Tampa Friday, Dec. 21.

The Wolves’ recent victory was in what’s considered the super bowl of Pop Warner football, played at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista.

The gift of tickets worth about $40 each for all the team members is being made in the name of the Deltona Beef ‘O’Brady’s at 2160 Howland Blvd., manager Bill Ellison told The Beacon.

The University of Central Florida will play Ball State University from Muncie, Ind.

Ellison won’t be able to attend with the team.

“It’s Friday night,” he said — one of the busiest nights of the week at the restaurant.

Fans who can’t make the collegiate postseason football game will be able to watch it on ESPN.
