The Stetson Hatter softballers crashed four home runs here Oct. 21 in a 20-1 exhibition game with Seminole State College that covered 14 innings.
This was the first of five fall games, with the next being here at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, with Daytona State. The following day at 11 a.m., the Hats will have Alumni Games here.
Jessica Griffin doubled twice, singled three times, and drove in five runs in seven trips to the plate. Morgan Hatch clouted two home runs, doubled, and singled. Meredith Owen and Chelsea Whalley each smashed a home run, with the former also pitching four innings.
Also working in the circle were Taylor Cochran and Courtney Brandt, hurling five and four innings, respectively. The Hats were wearing colorful pink uniforms in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
