As the high-school football season rolls into the home stretch of the 2012 regular season, there are still several important games remaining to decide which teams will continue on to the state playoffs.

The DeLand Bulldogs will be on the road Friday, Oct. 19, heading to Jacksonville and an important district clash with the Sandalwood Saints. This is on the heels of the ’Dogs hosting their Homecoming action against the Deltona Wolves.

The Taylor Wildcats had an open date Oct. 12, with a chance to get in a little extra work for their Thursday, Oct. 18, road trip to Wildwood, and an important district meeting with the Wildcats.

The Deltona Wolves have an open date Friday, Oct. 19, after being the opponent of the DeLand Bulldogs at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium Oct. 12.

The Pine Ridge Panthers will be taking to the road Friday, Oct. 19, heading to Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium for a kickoff against the Mainland Bucs. This is after coming off a home encounter with Ponte Vedra Nease.

The Deltona Trinity Christian Eagles also will be on the road headed to Melbourne to face the Florida Air Falcons. This was following their Oct. 12 home meeting with the Daytona Beach Father Lopez Green Wave.

Still another team that will be on the road Thursday, Oct. 18, will be the Orange City University Titans, with a tough district game on their schedule with the Lake Mary Rams. The Titans were away Oct. 12, facing the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs in a non-conference test.
