Susan Anderson receives national award for customer service

Susan Anderson, ACSR, office manager at Ryan Insurance & Financial in DeLand, is among a select group of employees at independent insurance agencies from around the nation to be recognized this week as a personal insurance High Achiever by Travelers. She was nominated for the award by Travelers Insurance representative Mary Blake.

Anderson is the sole winner in the state of Florida. She will receive the award during Travelers’ annual conference in Dallas. An eight-year Ryan Insurance & Financial employee, Anderson began her career at the local insurance-brokerage firm as a receptionist, working her way up to office manager;a position she’s held for several years. Anderson holds a 440 insurance license and in her day-to-day tasks at the office, manages a five-person staff, and attends office operations under primary agent Sean Ryan, CPCU.

“Susi truly is a wonderful asset to our team,” said Ryan. “Our growth as a company is directly attributable to the skills of my team, and Susi represents us so very well. We are so thrilled she’s been recognized by Travelers Insurance. She’s extremely deserving of the honor.”
