The Duvall Home, a leader in providing quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities, announces the appointment of its new Chief Development Officer, Debra Ann West.

“This appointment is part of our strategic development plan for the Duvall Home and I am excited to have Debra an accomplished professional join our team," said Martin Favis, President & CEO of Duvall Home. "As we continue to expand and improve on opportunities for both the home and its residents, Debra’s combined experience and expertise will help to position the Duvall Home and our partners at the forefront of the ever changing and challenging non-profit environment."

Debra has over 25 years of marketing and management experience, most recently locally as an entrepreneur and publisher of Women’s Lifestyle Magazine, and previously with various radio stations and newspapers across the eastern United States. As CDO part of her focus will be to promote the Duvall Home and its programs locally and throughout the Southeastern United States.

“We have just completed the first phase of our strategic development plan,” said Debra. “An extensive rebranding of the Duvall Home—with a new logo, positioning statement and a video documentary that really helps to tell our story. Our goal is to build strong community relations and heighten the awareness of the high quality of care and the family environment being offered at Duvall Home’s residential and group homes and day training programs.”

A legacy of love…a lifetime of opportunity, the Duvall Home—located in Glenwood, has been empowering lives of individuals with developmental disabilities for over 65 years. For more information www.duvallhome.org
