Florida Hospital DeLand hires physician liaisons

Florida Hospital DeLand has hired two new physician liaisons, Curtis Epps and Darby Rimes.

In their new role, Epps and Rimes will serve as a direct connection between Florida Hospital DeLand and physicians in the community. Epps will focus on physicians related to surgical, cancer, gastrointestinal care, while Rimes will focus on Cardio Pulmonary, Cardio Vascular, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Sleep and Neurology.

Epps, an Ormond Beach resident, has more than 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, formerly working for GlaxoSmithKline and Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. He has a Master of Education in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Education with a focus in Psychology.

Rimes, a Deltona resident, come to us with over 25 years experience in marketing and sales. Formerly a Provider Relations Marketing Rep for an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility Sleep Lab. Additionally, Rimes also served as an Infusion Drug Representative for a Specialty Pharmacy with additional experience in the Durable Medical Equipment Management at Lincare and Home Health Services.
