After an extensive national search, Haven Hospice is pleased to announce that Paul E. Ver Hoeve II has been named Haven’s new Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Haven, Ver Hoeve served in a number of executive leadership roles in operations and business development for VITAS Innovative Hospice Care. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of leadership positions for a number of national home health and senior living organizations.

At Haven, he will be responsible for day-to-day operations, overseeing clinical programs and Haven Medical Equipment, as well as quality improvement and facilities functions.

Ver Hoeve has been a member of the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), California Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (CHAPCA), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Ver Hoeve holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Phoenix. He is married and has three children.

“We are delighted to welcome Paul to the Haven family,” said Tim Bowen, president. “Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. He will be an asset to this organization and all those we seek to serve.”
