What would a Today Show host be doing at DeLeon Springs State Park on a cloudy morning? Why looking for the Fountain of Youth.
Jenna Wolfe, one of the hosts on the Sunday Today Show was found checking out DeLeon Springs State Park recently to film a segment on the Fountain of Youth. The brave reporter, who, if you watch her show, is willing to do almost anything, braved the cold 72-degree water to see if the water would keep her young.
Wolfe jumped into the springs three times, and called the swim invigorating, but the jury is out as to the anti-aging benefits of her plunge.
She was awarded membership in the DeLeon Springs Merfolk, a group of longtime lovers of the springs who swim at the park each and every morning, even in winter.
Her segment on the springs is set to air Sunday, Feb. 13, between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
