Ribbon-cutting kicks off new partnership between Florida Hospital-DeLand and Stetson University

Florida Hospital-DeLand and Stetson University are teaming up to bring the community advance health care with the new Florida Hospital-DeLand Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, located on the Stetson University Campus next to the Edmunds Center on East Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Florida Hospital-DeLand Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center is dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and psychological needs of individuals who, through injury or disease, have been limited in their ability to live full and active lives.

Comprehensive rehabilitative services span multiple disciplines and, at the heart, is a diverse team of specialists, including experienced therapists and physicians, who address a wide range of sports and rehabilitation issues and create individualized plans of care which promote healing, health, and well-being. The goal is to treat the whole person, as well as the injury or disease.

Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, with extended hours by appointment. For an appointment, call 386-822-5649.
