Brandywine Tennis and Fitness Center in DeLand had a grand re-opening May 15. Frank Cosentino and Jerry Fekete were introduced as the new tennis professionals at the center, which owned by Dr. Traun Lee.
The event was held in conjunction with the USPTA Tennis Across America Fitness for Life event.
It was free tennis for kids, adults and senior citizens. Well over 200 of DeLand's and Central Florida's best tennis players were there.
World War II Auschwitz death-camp survivors Vera Fekete and her best friend for 50 years, Eva Boehm, were the main guests of honor.
Brandywine Tennis is proud to have Jerry and Frank, and all the great new tennis programs available to the community, and Vera and Eva are always looking for tennis partners.
