VOLUSIA, FL – April 2010 – Lisa Peterson, Riverside Bank’s Volusia County Regional manager, presented Christopher Caradonna with $1,000 in the bank’s eighth annual College Scholarship Program.

Students attending either a two or four-year post-secondary school were eligible to apply. Caradonna was selected based on his academic goals, community service and written essay about why he feels he deserves the money.

Caradonna currently attends Deland High School and is enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. His goal is to attend Florida A&M University, College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee. He hopes to one day own his own pharmacy.

“Our scholarship program is another example of Riverside’s commitment to Volusia County,” said Lisa Peterson. “Riverside is dedicated to support education. We know this program will make a difference in the life of our scholarship recipient.”
