If you were in Downtown DeLand over the weekend, you may have seen the posters plastered just about everywhere:
"Missing! Last seen on Kepler Road 11/5 in DeLand walking, 14 y/o, Courtney Branton ... CALL MOM WITH ANY INFO. PLEASE"
The teen has been found.
The 14-year-old's mom, Beth Branton, and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office were both pleased to say Courtney was located, or "recovered" to use law-enforcement parlance, the day after she was reported msising.
As of Friday, Nov. 6, Courtney is safe and sound at home.
Her mother, Beth Branton, said her phone has been ringing nonstop. She is touched by all the concern about Courtney.
She didn't say where Courtney had been.
