First-team members— Atlantic Sun Conference Commissioner Ted Gumbart is flanked by a pair of Stetson Hatters, who earned First Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference honors for the 2009 season. Senior Jeremy Cruz, right, of Miami, was also named Player of the Year while playing all three outfield positions, first base, second base and third base. Junior Casey Frawley of New Haven, Conn., was cited for his play at shortstop, but he also played center field. Cruz finished the season batting .399 with 18 home runs, and 36 for his career, which tied him with Andy Wilson on the all-time Hatter list, behind Frank Corr’s 53.

Second-teamer — Stetson Hatter junior Aaron Crittenden of Fort Myers was named to the Second Team of the 2009 All-Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball Team, which was announced recently. He clouted 13 home runs this season, giving him 22 for his career.
