BARBERVILLE — The folks at Volusia Speedway Park took Saturday night off, with an eye set on Hero Night May 23, when all law-enforcement, military and fire/rescue people will be admitted free, with proper identification.
The program for the night will feature Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Thunder Stocks and Four-Cylinder Challengers.
At the last running, the 30-lap Sportsman feature for $1,000 was won by David Clegg, who inched out Shane Williams.
Rob Underwood won his second-straight Modified event, Grady Christian was victorious in the Street Stocks, and Tony Laports headed the Four-Cylinder Challengers.
Saturday, the pits open at 4:30 p.m., and the grandstands at 5:30 p.m., with racing at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10, students ages 11-15 pay $5, and kids under age 10 get in free, with drive-in parking costing $10 per car.
