Deltona Trinity Christian soars in Class 1A

DELTONA — Shortly before The West Volusia Beacon’s deadline, the Deltona Trinity Christian Eagles soared to a 12-2 win over Lecanto Seven Rivers Christian in the quarterfinals of the Class 1A baseball tournament. The victory pushes the Eagles to the semifinals on Friday against the winner of the Lake Mary Prep and Brooksville Hernando Christian game. Check at DTCA for the time and opponent of Friday’s game.
