Lugo has had more than 65 amateur fights, and his recent title was something special, as it was his finale as an amateur, as he will pursue a pro career. He has been set up with a manager and a trainer who is an ex-pro fighter out of Orlando to help get him on the road.

Assistant Coach Edwin C. pursued a pro career, but because of a hand injury, he returned to amateur boxing to give back to youths.

The mission of the Warriors program is to change lives through boxing, to set a family atmosphere, and to build self esteem and discipline that can help achieve life goals. It is more than just boxing.
