WhoMe - Just for your information Every house built in unicorporated Volusia County pays over $9,100 in impact fees for roads, fire service, utilities and mostly schools. A vote for this amendment would make it harder for schools and fire stations to be built because they would have to make the same comp plan changes required by any other development. Also Big Pockets whether producing widgets or gadgets or houses always passes any extra cost of prodcution to the consumer. If there is no profit for Big Pockets he will find somewhere else to invest his capital. Additional layers of regulations only make housing and development more expensive everyone.
Maybe the government could supply affordable housing for everyone!!!!! Sounds like socialism to me.
Are you sure this is what you would like to do?
