If the big pockets want to change the use of the land, let them bear the real cost instead of paying off politicians and then having the tax payer pay pay pay. If big pockets wants to develope cattle grazing land into a housing developement, then big pockets needs to fund the additional school buiding, teachers, cops and firemen, roads, water, sewer to service that area. Now they just build it and leave the taxpayer holding the burden. A vote will keep them in check. It will simply make the developers do it the right way first time and put the money on the table before the ground is turned.
