It is because of you that Volusia is so far behind other county's and city department's when it comes to fire protection. We should have eliminated you "TICKS" a long time ago. You look at growth other neighboring fire departments have had since they eliminated their volunteers system its preety staggering. "The volunteer system is holding us back." As far as all the eminities at station 33, do you really believe the county wouldnt have purchased those things for the station if you didnt? Dont fool yourself. The county DOES NOT buy things for station 33 because they know your going to. Just keep on coming down on wednesday's, not doing anything to truely help morale, or grow the department, and we'll keep listening to DEFACTO Capt Neyer(LOL) bitch about not getting training for his "Support" level TICKS! BTW when do you think the last time was you rode on an engine to a call??? I'm guessing by your low # it was probably sometime in the 90's, well over ten years ago.
