Reply to SaveVolusiaNotSeaCows---I doubt that the Manatee would die if people leave this state. They would probably flourish as would many other species. Remember, like it or not, all things are connected. All things were made by God. In times past the Manatee was used for food, weapons & clothing. The way to prevent this increase is to conserve the water we now have (not sell to bottlers & continue uncontrolled development) but for people like what your post makes you sound like, I guess that's just too much trouble. The people that truly love this state will stay & figure out a way to make things work.
Are you sure this is what you would like to do?
