My comment is to readers who claim this sign ministry is in the Bible. I wish they would provide book, chater and verse. I have been unable to locate where Abraham, Moses. Jesus, Paul or anyone else held a sign as a method to preach. But many did resort to the pen and paper and preach in public areas. I also believe if you are trying to introduce or reintroduce individuals to Christ the most effective method is to be a witness to your faith. Volunteer to work in one of the local kitchens that feed the homeless, mentor a student who is struggling in school, volunteer to build a house with Habitat, volunteer to work with one of the social agencies in DeLand that help those who need rent assistance, or to pay their bills, celebrate your birthday by asking your family and friends to make monetary or pet food donations in your name to Journey's End, volunteer to help those that are home bound (take them grocery, to a movie, shopping, cut their hair, do their nails), work in the prison ministry, be a hospice volunteer, give rides (Share A Ride) to those who have dental or medical appointments, be a volunteer in our schools, librarieshospitals. Be a witness to your faith by helping others who are in need.
