Yes, the choir wasn't all in unison. That would mean they were all singing the same notes (perhaps in different octaves) all together. They were singing the same words in the same rhythm, and perhaps some parts (ie. first or second soprano and tenor) may have been in unison. They sound like natural or prime harmonies (4ths and fifths) Could we call it power chords?
