Realist have you ever ran for office? or Do you just sit back and complain about those who have stepped up? In your opinion is there anyone in governement who has ever done a good job? Odd that you should complain in one breath about the City not paving roads when in the other breath you tell us you are going to the City's Equestrian Center that was built within the last few years by the City. I have not been in Lake Helen for 13 years, but I have seen a lot done within the few years that I have been here. When my grandchildren visit, my wife and I enjoy taking them to the area parks and we have taken them to Cafe a few times. My wife has enjoyed the Tennis Courts and I have fished off of the dock at the Kicklighter Road park. We have used the parks and other public amenities here many times. We lived and worked all over South Florida, we have never seen a community that offers so much for so little. By the way Realist, just how much is your annual City tax bill. Ours is under a thousand. Cheap for what we get out of it. I am pleased with the amount of work that I have seen done around Lake Helen. The streets and parks are maintained nicely. As for my sleeping habits, I often go fishing and shrimping at night. If you must know, the company I once owned did commercial remodeling work. Much of our work had to be done at night when the businesses we were working on were slow. So yes I do have a so called normal sleeping pattern.
