The jobs will pay far less than what Wal-Mart has promised; they will be contract employees of third-party firms (without benefits), and will not be full-time employees of Wal-Mart. Putnam has been snookered by bullies and by greedy land-owners, lawyers, and politicians. This will be disasterous for Crescent City and will become known has "blight-zone." What a shame. This needs to be much closer to I-75 or I-95; not in the middle of nowhere.
