Is anyone else outraged? We are now paying to help renovate facilities for Stetson. The County is taking money from our families to give to Stetson when some of us out here who are working ourselves to death in order to pay our taxes and provide for our families can not even afford to send our kids to college. Stetson's annual tuition fee is now over $30,000. I am being forced to subsidize a Private University while my kids are suffering. The ECHO and FLORIDA FOREVER programs need to be repealed. Families out here are suffering and the County keeps taking from them and spending their money on ridiculous projects and programs that will provide little if any real benifit to them. Many are even having to have yard sales and are selling off their belonging in order to simply pay their taxes. What will it take for our County Council to wake up and realize many of us are tired of their out of control spending spree. The economy is failing, people are out of work, living espense are up, and our County Council continues to spend our money drunken sailors. Thanks for nothing County Council. Enjoy the party while it last, it will be ending soon. PORK BARREL SPENDING VOLUSIA COUNTY STYLE!!!
