REPEAL FLORIDA FOREVER AND REPEAL ECHO. Every other day we read about Volusia County Governement spending a million here and a million there on non-esential projects, programs, or services. END THIS MADNESS. No more parks, no more trails, no more land purchases, no more museums, no more theaters, and no more wasteful spending sprees. Stop spending and bank the ECHO and Florida Forever money. Let the voters rethink these programs and let the voters decide what they wish to do. Much has changed since these programs were enacted. We are seeing more and more homeless people on our streets, foreclosure is now a word that is used daily, collage savings accounts are now being drained and used for daily household expenses, many who have lost their jobs are having their vehicles repossed, and if you drive around this County you will find yard sales all over the place where citizens and taxpayers are being forced to sell off their belonging in order to simply survive. We are in a crisis.
