This bogus pathetic CPPI organization starts expensive garbage like this and dumps it into the city's lap.

Both the Kovals comment correctly that all these stupid celebrations started out not costing the taxpayer anything but NOW...they want the city to pay for their foolishness.

The CPPI is just another non profit beggar corporation that deserves nothing from the taxpayers.

Look at the entire spectacle of badgering and begging that took place at that meeting from Marcia Steele for the CPPI, a bogus bum corporation that never even had thier 501c3 status certified.

Our councilmembers need to start showing some backbone against these non Profit BUM corporations that plague the city with their BEGGING and manipulating.

Representatives for these BUM corporations should have to be registered as what they are LOBBYISTS. There should be a non refundable fee of at least $2500 for any BUM lobbyist to even apply to get their items on the agenda.

That might keep the BUM non profit corporations away from the city treasury

BUM non profit corporations like Team Volusia INC. CPPI INC, Debary Little League Inc. Gateway Center for the ARTS INC. need to support themselves and quit politicing and begging from government.

Firecracker Carson and his friends need to pay for their own fireworks shows.. Debary is $10.5 M in debt...celebrate that.
