I've worked for 20 years and still do not bring home as much as a first year teacher. I'm bringing home less now than I did 4 years ago. My rate of pay has not gone up, yet the ins. premiums have and the tax rate has. Give us bottom-of-the-ladder employees a break. We can't afford any more deductions!
