The reason that Chris Nabicht ran for office was to get revenge on City Manager Miller for personal issues. He knew there were 3 loose-cannon votes on the commission to fire her, and he wanted to be the 4th. I hope he's happy and I hope the other 3 will be overjoyed when they see what kind of person they find for that underpaid, overworked and thankless position that requires constantly defending yourself against petty, unsupported and perceived "errors." It's a job no sane person would want. Just imagine having 7 different bosses, all of whom have egos the size of Texas, and all of whom have to worry about being re-elected the minute they get elected. They are in the public eye so what do they do? Blame everything on the city manager, who can't fight back. It's the same in every city, and only because Ms. Miller had grace and competence under pressure, did she last as long as she did. Final word? Ask those who worked for her.
