Why did we have a lower tax rate? Is it because of revenue from the Power Plant? Tell us why?
It is not just any Splash Pad it is the expensive uneeded $460,000 Splash Pad that will take another $10,000 or so dollars annually to operate.
It was a package deal with the $100,000 dollar pocket park in Glen Abbey, where C/M Carson and C/M Koval live.
That makes a total of 12 parks in Debary shall we go for more?
It is only taxpayer money...who cares about taxpayers as the city raises taxes for more uneeded parks.
What is next on the Debary City Council spending spree...football stadium..police station...firestation...land purchase? It is all 'free money' the kids on the council never earned but love to spend.
If one Splash Pad is good...lets have another on 17-92...go fo it @ $460,000 a shot.
